Just watched the sun set over the lake. I traced my path back to the truck through the woods in the dark, or the almost dark, the newly dark. I listened to Bruce Springsteen on the way home and Basho, soaking wet and content, rested his wayward head on my lap and what, I ask you, is better than this?

Conversation I had with Bathsheba earlier:

Molu: I don't have a low self-esteem; I'm just not very interesting.
Bathsheba: I feel exactly the same way.

(It has been brought to my attention that perhaps Bathsheba's comments may be misconstrued. To clarify: Bathsheba was talking about Bathsheba. Not moi. Also, Bathsheba is very interesting.)
