Oh, Solaris is out and the only person I want to see this movie with is Bathsheba. We taught the novel (by Stanislaw Lem) in our science fiction class. Such a strange book. Good, very good. But seeing the previews, it looks like a love story and it's not really. Although, maybe it is. But not the love story it looks like they're telling. Sigh. I hate it when my friend lives 2000 miles away.
