The lights are flickering here. And so far half the department has found out that they've lost power. Maybe me too, but I won't find out until 5:10 pm.

This makes me a little bit glad to be going south. But also nervous about driving. I read that there have been "numerous" accidents. I fucking hate the word numerous. It's stupid.
