As I was walking to the truck from work today I encountered this kid, age about 4 maybe, and he started shouting in my direction: "hey! hey! hey! hi!" And then he ran full speed toward me and wrapped me up in a hug. I said, "hey aren't you something." He said, "yeah. Can you tie my shoe? That's my mom." So I tied his shoe and he pet my head and I said, "you're petting my head" and he said, "like a dog" and I said, "well thanks." And then off he ran to his mom.

Gave me a shine the whole day through, that one.
